Bird Watching Vacations
Don't we often talk about the chirping winged creatures and their free flights. Tweeting and chirping they have been found in man's fancy often where we all try to decipher the coded talks of these birds . Birds have not only made man envy for their flying potential but also have found a presence in the anecdotes and poems. Come winters and there are number of rainbow hued migratory fliers in our balconies talking in their indecipherable voices. However, that was just a casual attention flicker, watching birds with a motif of admiration is really wonderful. Bird watching can prove to be an important activity for children to participate and enjoy themselves. Bird watching is a popular hobby. Finding and identifying different bird species can be quite a challenge. Birds can be identified by using field guides and visually determining the bird's category such as swimmer, flier, wader, bird of prey, fowl-like, field marks such as spot of color, eye-rings, size and shape, behavior such as feeding, courtship, flying and/or swimming and/or walking, flocking, migration patterns, range of habitat, etc.
A sophisticated proclivity
A bird's behavior is as reliable as its eye-stripe, wing bar, or voice for purposes of identification. Bird behavior includes swimming and diving, feeding, courtship, defense, walking, flocking, flying, and much more. Within these categories are many marvelous actions unique to birds. Does the bird creep or does it hop? Does it dive for food or dabble from the surface? Does it flutter in flight or soar on wide wings? All of these types of behavior are clues to the bird's identity and a joy to behold.
